1997 was also the year in which I decided to go back to school (at the Art Institute of Seattle) to study 3D and computer animation. If only I could go back in time and kill myself to keep me from doing that.... Anyways, this picture was made for my friends at Nichibei Anime (see their link on my links page) using Painter when I was in my computer painting class. They wanted me to design a cute little kimono girl for them. I did but they went with Robert DeJesus' design over mine. Oh well...
