links
Hi everybody! Welcome to my links page. Here, you will find links to friends sites and sites that have inspired me in my artwork in one way or another. For the links, I have put a description of the page, what I like about them, if it's in English, Japanese, or another language and if the site might have some questionable material on it. Don't worry.... I'm not going to send you all to a smut site or anything but don't complain to me if you go to one of these sites and see something offensive! It's not my fault!!
If you would like to link to my site, please feel free to do so. Please contact me first and then use my banner on your links page. Use the following banner to link to my site.

Happy Linking! :)

ENGLISH SITES

Here is my Canadian friend, Daniel Lam's site. He and I met a few years ago when we were contacted by a company that wanted to publish a comic book. These guys liked the artwork we did on a Monthly Anime site and wanted us to draw for them. Well, to make a long story short.... the company died (before they even published anything) but Daniel and I still chat every once and a while (usually about video games and artwork). Check out his artwork, he's really talented. He went to an art school so he can work on video games. Good luck Daniel! Site is in English and viewable for all ages.

Wanna buy anime cels? Well, visit my friends here! I met Dave and Miyuki at Anime America a long time ago. They were selling LOTS of anime cels from some of my favorite shows. If you visit their site tell them I sent you and tell them that I said "HI!" An English site with nothing bad to worry about (unless you buy lots of neat stuff from them and go broke but that's not my fault! :)

Chances are, you found my site while surfing through the Anipike. I have used Anipike religiously over the past few years to find new art friends, find info on my favorite anime shows, or to just check and see what is new in the art world. You'll find links to anything and everything that is related to anime here. The site is in English that has links set in categories (fan art, show references, businesses, and adult stuff).

When I watched "The Killer Bean #2", I laughed so hard, I was crying! Jeff Lew has labored for three years to give us one of the funniest original shorts I have seen in years! Do you love two handed, gun blazing John Woo action mixed in with Matrix style special effects? Do you love drinking too much coffee? If you answered "YES!" to both questions, watch his video (even if you answered "No" to the questions). Video is violent, but well worth watching!

Wow! It's Bill Maus! He's the first famous American comic artist that let me link to his page. He draws some pretty funny parody comics (parodies of X-Men, Gen-13, etc) and does an amazing job on his original comics like: Nira X (my favorite) and Mercy. I really like drawing and inking style. I hope that my female characters can look as alluring as his. Enough shmoozing.... visit his site! He plans on having a Flash animation of Nira X soon. Can't wait!

This Flash operated site is run by my good friend Jessep (and some buddies of his). They are offering you, YES YOU!, the chance to make your website, host it, etc. If you need help getting your site up and going, give them a call, shoot them an email and they can give you a hand. Hmmmm.... I wonder if I can get any commissions on referrals.... :)

These guys just set up shop in Redmond this last summer and check book is hurting because of it! Seriously, these guys (and gals) own one of the best RC hobby stores anyone can ask for. If you are into RC car action like my friends and me, then you'll love this store. Pay them a visit and tell them that Rich sent you!

Mike contacted me after I had posted a few messages on the OCAD (Online Comic Artists Directory) a few times. Mike runs a nice art site called "Grievance". He is a very talented artist that can paint some nice interesting works. He even illustrated a nice picture for me. Check it out in my Guest Gallery. When you are done there, please visit Mike's site and tell him Rich sent you!

I remember Arshes when she was a little ol' student attending the Art Institute of Seattle (when I went there my second time). She left and went to California. Check out her site. She has a great grasp on computer coloring as well as regular media. Also, she draws some of the cutest darned SD characters you've ever seen!

Kei has some of the most incredible talent I have ever seen! Hell, she's only 17 too! I know she will be a world famous artist one of these days! At the age of 17, she has become a master (mastress??) of drawing the human anatomy. She can also render her pictures beautifully in Photoshop.

Jra is a local Seattle artist whom I have yet to meet. He is attending the Art Institute of Seattle and working his skillz to become a character designer for video games. I wish him the best! He has the talent and the artistic abilities to succeed in life. One of these days I'm going to meet up with this guy and steal his talent!

What do I do on the web when I am not looking at porn... uh... I mean my fellow friends artwork? I regularly visit the Online Comic Artists Directory and see what artists from across the world are doing. I frequently post on their BBS. Check it!

J.P. is another Seattle artist (man, they are everywhere). I met this guy and scared at Sakura Con in May 2001. He has a fun, cute little site that you should check out.

Here is a wonderful site by the fantastic artist, Charles Park! Name sound familiar?? It should if you are into comics. He has worked on many comic projects (X-Men: Evolution, Last Shot, and Echo). His gallery is full of stunning artwork. He even has tutorials up! Now you can be cool like Charles!

I had the pleasure of meeting this wonderfully talented artist at Sakura Con 2002 in Seattle. Her drawings are anatomically amazing! I think she wants to be the next Joe Madureira! Best of luck to her. Stop by her site and tell Katsy that Rich says "Hi!".

Here's an awesome site that has it all: awesome art, a cool BBS to hang out and chat in, great tutorials and more!!! The site is run by a Northwest artist that works for Microsoft. Don't forget to stop by the BBS; there's plenty of great people there... including me!

Are you goth? If so, then you'll love my friend, Josie Nutters' site. She's the type of girl most guys wish they had! She's hot, loves comics (and manga), anime, video games and dressing up in the most amazing goth costume wear you can imagine! Heck! She even does modeling as well! Too bad for you she's married! Check out her site and let her know I sent you!

Check out this amazing site! Jason does some of the best smegging inking I have ever seen (and he's a darn good penciler too)! He's inked in comics for many of the best pencilers out there like Adam Warren! Here's another cool thing about his site... his girl friend, Heather, colors in his artwork as well. She's a goddess with colors!

I had seen Zekie post before on OCAD many times and even colored in one of his pics. It wasn't until Sakura Con 2002 that I had an opportunity to meet this fabulous artist in person. Then we even had a chance to kick it in San Diego for San Diego Comic Con '02. He finally put up a webpage and for that, I am happy. Need I tell you to go check it out now? No! Now go!

Rin is a cute, spunky girl who resides locally. She recently set up a new webpage so I am more than happy to link to her site. Her site shows off her incredible artistic talent and some fun little short stories. Rin also happens to be on of the best damn inkers I know. Occasionally, she will post webcam pics! Oh joy~!

I had the pleasure of meeting Parker Smart at San Diego Comic Con 2002. He liked my art so much, he wanted me to draw a pic of his comic character Cici. Parker is a man of many talents. He is the Creator, writer, editor and publisher for his comic titled: Cici. Cici is currently out in comic stores so please run out and buy it! While you are at it, check out his website!

ASIAN SITES

Way back when I used to have art up on the "Tin's Joypad" site, Oyaman was the first Japanese artist I contacted to link to his site. Unfortunately, I lost contact with him after the Joypad died. I went to his site while I was redesigning my site and I was happy to see that he is still drawing beautiful anime illustrations. I think Oyaman is a published artist over in Japan. Here's to your success Oyaman! Site is in Japanese with some adult pics.

Yuri Ai is definitely a published artist in Japan. I've seen a few of his comics and illustrations in magazines. He draws ladies with the biggest hips and....uh.... hugest tracts of land I've ever seen. Site is in Japanese with adult material.

I haven't talked with this individual yet, but I like the way he colors. Another PhotoShop master! Japanese site with some adult pics.

I love the bright vivid colors he uses in his illustrations. Nice, bright and eye-catching! Japanese site with adult themes.

Out of all my Japanese art friends here, I like Maruto's art the best (sorry guys). I saw his site a long time ago and was amazed at how he draws and colors. I love the subtle water color look to his pics. I was also amazed at how he would change the "ears" of his characters to give them distinct characteristics. If you look at my artwork (the Goddess pics), you'll see that I started to draw my ears differently too, just like Maruto. Now if I could only color like him! Maruto is a published artist in Japan, in fact, I managed to find and buy one of his books while on a recent trip there. Lucky you! He has both English and Japanese pages. There are a few adult pics there though.

I like his illustrations especially the cute fox girl on his opening page. It's an all Japanese site with nothing to be worried about.

Oh my! This guy uses PhotoShop like it's no ones business! He is also an avid Macintosh fanatic (just like me)! He illustrates famous anime and manga characters (dare I say it?) almost better than their original creators! I love his little "Mac" and "iMac" girls. Cute stuff but there are some adult pics there. Site is in Japanese and English.

Sena works hard for a living and manages to do artwork in his free time. Boy, does he ever kick out a lot of art! It's hard to keep up with this guy! He's a pretty friendly guy and can speak English pretty good. I wrote him once complimenting his page and he drew me a cool little picture! Thanks Sena! Japanese site with some adult works.

What's the Celestial Zone you say? The Celestial Zone is a comic that is made in Singapore by the artist Wee Tian Beng. I love the way this comic series is illustrated. Lots 'o detail, lots 'o action and the girls are cute too (I'm fond of White Tiger Zi Yan!). This comic series has found it's way to the American market and I buy each book with great eagerness. Mr. Beng's art style reminds me that of City Hunter's creator Tsukasa Hojo. Visit this website and find out about the Celestial Zone's characters and story line. Also, there are a few galleries here. Hmmmm..... maybe I'll draw a picture of the Celestial Zone's characters and submit it to Mr. Beng's fan art gallery. This site is in English and Chinese. Nothing offensive here to be afraid of.

I had the fortunate opportunity to meet Mr. Yutaka Abe wile I was at A-Kon in June 2000. He was visiting the con with his fellow dojinshi group. I, unfortunately, didn't get the chance to talk to him for very long but I gave him one of my Goddess comics that I was selling at the con. He was so impressed, he gave me a whole bunch of his artwork! I hope that he attends the next A-Kon so we can have the chance to sit and talk about art. His site is real nice too. Some adult material.

Neko House is a fun filled website with lots of nice character pieces that were rendered by a very talented Japanese lady. Yes, girls can draw and color like us guys, and she's leading the way for females who can illustrate comics. Her site does contain some adult material.

OMG! Whoever does the art for this Korean game is my "art-god" now! I love this guys art more than Masamune Shirow now. I wish he would release an art book or something. This site is for a game in Korea called "The War of Genesis". The site is in Korean so I have no idea what the hell they are talking about. I just site and drool looking at the pretty pictures.
